Embedding YouTube Videos With Captions

YouTube is one of the largest video sharing sites in the world. One of their great features is that a video can have captions or subtitles added to it. If you want to embed a video with subtitles here is the code that you will need.

1. You need the YouTube Link Address to embed. Example: “https://www.youtube.com/embed/i5Q02YX2VTw”

2. Then you need to add the following line to the URL to make your video play the subtitles automatically. “?version=3&hl=pt&&cc_load_policy=1”

3. After you have your complete URL it will look something like this one. Then embed it to your website as usual. “https://www.youtube.com/embed/i5Q02YX2VTw?version=3&hl=pt&&cc_load_policy=1”

Note: Facebook will not play the captions.
